Playoffs!? You’re talking about playoffs!?
Oh Jim Mora, that still cracks me up.
NFL.com (along with pretty much everyone else) has been talking a lot about playoff positioning and who or which team is going to make it, and so on and so forth. It seems like the first time in awhile where so many divisions are still up for grabs, and the wild card spots in both conferences are still pretty fluid.
Usually its just one or two teams that are battling it out for the last few spots, but this year, in both conferences, it still seems up in the air. There are still tight races in the NFC North, NFC South, AFC East, and AFC North. And for all of the pre-season hype about the NFC East, if the season was over right now, only the NY Giants would make it (with the Panthers and Falcons taking the two NFC wild card spots).
My personal prediction is that the current line-up of teams in the NFC is going to be the line-up we see at the end of the season. The only change might be the division winner of the NFC South. I don’t think either the Cowboys, Eagles, or Redskins are going to pull it together over the last few weeks, and I don’t think the NFC South teams are going to slip up. But we’ll see.
My fake prediction for the Superbowl? Falcons-Ravens. Matt Ryan vs Joe Flacco. Wouldn’t that be a doozy.
